A graduate from East to West Yoga has been studying in India and has organized a Cancer Treatment retreat if you or anyone you know may be interested. Here is her story:

My name is Lee and I am cancer survivor of now 6 years. My allopathic therapy lasted 2 years and it took me another 4 years to regain a spring in my step and a smile on my face. In my cancer journey I used yoga ways to help my body to recover and to manage my mind so that it didn’t go into despair or depression. I believe allopathic system drops us at the end of chemo and/or radiation very often debilitated by the poison we had to endure and it offers no further support.

And so currently I was lucky to work with some amazing people in allopathic, Ayurvedic and Yogic science in Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute in India. We designed a 3 week residential program in India which is specifically geared to cancer survivors who would like to detoxify and cleanse their body and minds after finishing chemotherapy or radiation. I attached an information about it – if you think appropriate please feel free to distribute it to those who may benefit form it.

If you have any questions I will be happy to answer them.

With best wishes for 2013 to all cancer conquerors (I don’t like the word “survivor” cuz in my mind we win the battle 🙂
